The Role
We are looking for a passionate and hands-onRetail Assistant Managerto support our much-loved Vinnies shop in Burleigh Waters!
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
Working closely with the Retail Manager, you willsupport the day-to-day operations of the store, help lead a dedicated volunteer team, and create a welcoming shopping experience for the local community.
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, initiative, and a collaborative approach, who is passionate about customer service, sustainable shopping, and visual merchandising.
As this is a hands-on retail environment,



manual handling will also form part of the role.

This is aPermanent,Full-timeposition (38 hours per week) based in ourBurleigh Watersshop!
The role operates on a Tuesday to Saturday roster.
What you'll bring:
Your experience – previous experience in retail including merchandising, cash handling, workplace health and safety and effective communication skills
An eye for sustainable fashion and repurposing with purpose – ensuring our customers find their next hidden treasure
A passion for making a difference and supporting our companions to shop in a welcoming environment
An appreciation for our volunteers and the role they play in supporting our retail operations
