Green Point Terrigal Community Services is a respected not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting the local community for more than 30 years.
Through community development, partnerships and a range of programs and services, we provide a welcoming place where people can connect, participate and access the support they need.
We are seeking an experienced and motivatedCentre Managerto lead the day-to-day operations of our Community Centre and work collaboratively with our Board of Management, staff, volunteers and community partners to continue building a vibrant, inclusive and connected community.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Board of Management, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the day-to-day management of the Community Centre.
Identifying community needs and developing responsive programs and services.
Building and maintaining strong partnerships with community organisations, government agencies and funding bodies.
Preparing grant applications and managing funding and reporting requirements.
Managing budgets, resources and organisational compliance.




Leading and supporting staff and volunteers to create a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Supporting the Board through effective reporting, planning and governance.
About You
You are an experienced leader who enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about community development.
You will bring:
Experience in community services, community development or the not-for-profit sector.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
Experience in developing and evaluating community programs and services.
Strong financial, organisational and administrative skills.
Experience preparing grant applications and managing funding agreements.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work independently while building strong partnerships across the community.
