Seafood Traders has been exporting premium wild Tasmanian live abalone around the world since ****.
We're a family-owned business located minutes from Hobart Airport, supplying some of the world's highest-end seafood markets.
We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to be part of a small, close-knit team.
What you'll be doing
Receiving and handling live abalone
Preparing export shipments for international customers
Driving company vehicles to collect product around Tasmania
Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas
Monitoring stock and assisting with quality control
General warehouse and processing duties
Assisting with facility maintenance and improvement projects
About you
You don't need seafood experience—we can teach that.
What we can't teach is attitude.
You'll be someone who:
Is physically fit and capable of manual work
Is reliable and turns up every day ready to work
Has common sense and can work without constant supervision
Pays attention to detail
Takes pride in keeping things clean and organised
Is comfortable working in a routine-based role
Holds a current driver's licence (manual preferred)
Has Australian working rights
Mechanical aptitude, farming, fishing, construction, aquaculture or trade experience will be viewed favourably.
