About the role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join Ausco Products on a full time basis at our facility in Malaga, WA ****.
This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day management and oversight of our operations.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations whilst driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
This role is integral to achieving our operational objectives and supporting the growth and success of Ausco Products.
What you'll be doing
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing all operational activities to ensure targets are met and resources are utilised efficiently
Managing and supervising operational staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and development
Implementing and maintaining safety protocols, quality standards,



and regulatory compliance across all operations
Monitoring production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics to optimise workflow and minimise delays
Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Managing other departments, including engineering, administration, sales, and procurement, liaising with finance, to ensure seamless operational integration
Analysing operational metrics and key performance indicators to track performance and report to senior management
Managing equipment maintenance schedules and ensuring proper asset management
Responding to operational challenges and implementing solutions in a timely manner
Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the team
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience in an operations management role within the engineering and manufacturing sector
Proven track record of successfully managing operational teams and delivering results against key performance indicators
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality management systems, and workplace compliance
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions




Proficiency in data analysis and experience using operational management systems and software
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Demonstrated experience in process improvement, lean management, or similar operational optimisation methodologies
Formal qualifications in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential)
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands
