THE ROLE:
As a casual Breakfast Chef at Paradise Resort Gold Coast, you will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting breakfast dishes with passion, precision, and efficiency, while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
Voted Australia's Best Family Resort, our dining outlets, including Penguins Restaurant and our Poolside Café & Bar, are renowned for serving straightforward, fresh, and delicious meals the whole family can enjoy.
The successful applicant will possess the ability to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes of exceptional quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
Adhere to all Health and Safety policies, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Ensure stock control, rotation, and minimal wastage.
Display excellent product knowledge and attention to detail.
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and food & beverage team.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous demonstrated experience in a similar chef or breakfast-focused role.
A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (highly regarded).
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster,



including weekends and public holidays.
A passion for presentation, quality plating, and culinary excellence.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate and work efficiently under pressure.
