Students with disabilities or learning difficulties are amongst the most vulnerable in a school and as such, the role of the Learning Enrichment Tutor is crucial to assist these students in accessing and participating in their education on the same basis as students without disability (Disability Standards for Education, ****).
The primary function of the Learning Enrichment Tutor is to facilitate tutorial and in-class support for students who require additional support.
The role will be responsible for providing learning support for students identified to require this,
such as students with disabilities, additional or special needs, English as an Additional Language (EAL), or considered to be 'at risk'.
The role will also provide support to the Director of Learning Enrichment.
The successful applicant must also complete our child-protected screening processes, including holding a Working with Children Clearance.
