The Role
We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing to join our team at our residential aged care home in Birkdale.
You'll provide high-quality, person-centred care, supporting residents with their daily living activities while helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Working alongside our clinical and care teams, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents and their families while making a genuine difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
Support residents with mobility, transfers and manual handling.
Assist with meals, nutrition and hydration.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Encourage participation in lifestyle and recreational activities.
Respond promptly to resident call bells and care needs.




Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver exceptional care.
What We're Looking For
You are compassionate, patient and enjoy supporting older people to live with dignity and respect.
You'll also have:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
Experience in residential or community aged care (highly regarded).
Knowledge of person-centred care, infection control and safe manual handling.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
