We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focusedParts Sales & Procurement Coordinatorto join our growing team.
This is a diverse, hands-on position where you'll be involved in sales, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations and customer support.

About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for parts interpretation, purchasing and inventory management, as well as customer sales and support.
Working closely with our workshop, warehouse and administration teams, you will help ensure our customers receive the right products, on time, every time.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership and being involved in all aspects of the business.
Your Responsibilities
Parts Sales & Customer Service
Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email and over the counter.
Develop strong relationships with trade, mining, transport and retail customers.
Prepare quotations and actively follow up opportunities to maximise sales.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Promote Gibson Driveshaft Services' products and custom manufacturing capabilities.
Resolve customer enquiries professionally.
Purchasing & Procurement
Source products from Australian and international suppliers.
Obtain supplier quotations and negotiate pricing.
Raise and manage purchase orders.
Monitor supplier lead times and delivery performance.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Forecast stock requirements based on customer demand.
Manage backorders and expedite urgent deliveries.
Identify purchasing efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
Parts Interpretation
Interpret customer enquiries using vehicle details, OEM part numbers and technical specifications.
Identify suitable driveshafts, universal joints, centre bearings, CV shafts and related driveline components.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our expanding product range.
Warehouse & Inventory
Assist with warehouse duties where required, this may include:
Receive, inspect and store incoming stock.
Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders.
Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Supply workshop technicians with required components.
Coordinate freight bookings and dispatch documentation.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
Administration
Assist with general administration duties as required.
Prepare quotations, invoices and purchase orders.
Process customer payments.
Maintain supplier and customer records.
Update inventory and pricing information within inventory software.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in automotive/truck/mining parts sales, purchasing, inventory or warehouse operations.
Has strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys solving technical problems.
Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
Enjoys working both in the office and warehouse.
Takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills & Experience
Automotive parts experience.
Purchasing or procurement experience.
Inventory management experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Experience using inventory or ERP.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Forklift Licence.
Desirable
Truck and Mining parts experience.
Experience with driveshafts or driveline components.
Experience supplying mining, transport or heavy vehicle industries.
First Aid Certificate.
