About the role
As the HSE Coordinator at Streamline Connect Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects in our projects in remote locations in Western Australia.
This full-time position will see you collaborate closely with the project management team to drive a safety-first culture and implement effective risk management strategies.
The role will involve frequent travel to site but will be based from Perth.
Point of hire is Perth, Western Australia.
What you'll be doing
Conduct and review risk assessments including SWMS, JHAs and other Work Health and Safety Management plans / procedures to ensure appropriate implementation;
Record and follow up on incidents, near-misses and corrective actions;
Maintain HSE documentation including inductions, incident registers, and audit logs;
Coordinate and track site and office safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions;
Support ISO certifications, audit readiness, and HSE management system maintenance;
Deliver internal safety campaigns, wellbeing initiatives, toolbox talks, and risk assessments;
Support all levels of the project team in the implementation of health, safety and wellbeing initiatives;
Other duties may be required from time to time and these may be reasonably requested from management.
What we're looking for
Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar HSE coordinator or officer role, preferably within the construction industry
Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
Conduct Safety & Health Investigation (RIIOHS301)
Lead Investigator (ICAM)
Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
Drivers License - C (or higher)
Work safely in the construction industry (White Card)
Provide CPR
Provide First Aid
Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve safety objectives
