Open Windows and Doors is a WA-owned and operated business l.
We manufacture and install premium aluminium window and door systems, and security screens, for the premium end of the Perth home market.
We are a licenced fabricator ofAWSVantageandElevatealuminium systems.
We are seeking a skilledFabricatorto join our manufacturing team.
This is afull-time position.
In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality aluminium windows and doors for our customers.
You will play a critical part in our production process, ensuring that every product meets our high quality standards.
What you'll be doing
Fabricating aluminium frames and components using new and updated machinery and hand tools in accordance with technical specifications and drawings.
Assembling windows and doors, including glazing and sealing operations, ensuring structural integrity and weatherproofing.
Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment including saws, drills, presses and joining machinery.
Performing quality checks throughout the fabrication and assembly process to identify and rectify any defects.
Adhering to all health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.
Collaborating with team members and Workshop Manager to meet production schedules and targets.
What we're looking for




Fabrication of aluminium windows and doors and glass handling / glazing experience.
Knowledge and experience ofAWSVantageandElevatesystems preferred but not essential.
Handling of large/heavy items including frames, glass with glass lifting machine (including double glazed panels).
Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
Ability to comply with quality controls and work efficiently to a high standard.
Ability to work unsupervised at times, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
