Experienced Minute Taker Required
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated minute taker to join the team as we expand into Adelaide and South Australia!
As this role involves attending face to face meetings, you must be based in Adelaide and have access to a vehicle.
(You will be reimbursed for all km's travelled).
Your role will include taking minutes of meetings including and not limited to: Board, AGM and Committee meetings.
The role is casual* in nature and the hours fluctuate from week to week although at a minimum will be 20 hours on average.
You will be responsible for producing minutes from a in person meeting, audio file, or live via Zoom/Teams, which can be anywhere from one hour to all day and may require evening and weekend work.
You will be required to write your notes into formal minutes and send them through to the Director for review, who will forward to the client for finalisation.
While flexibility is essential, dates are generally known well in advance.
You must have the following skills to apply for the role:
Experience writing Board, AGM and Committee meeting minutes.
Excellent understanding of business writing and formal minute terminology.
Advanced MS Word skills, specifically with respect to formatting documents.
Attention to detail and a small margin of error for spelling and grammatical errors (i.e. you will be required to proof read your work).
Flexibility
Ability to complete a draft set of minutes in a timely manner.
We are hoping to secure an individual with experience minute taking, particularly Finance and Risk Committee meetings, however please don't be discouraged from applying should this not be the case.
You will be able to set your own hours in this exciting role (outside of attending live meetings) as well as spend the majority of your time working from home!
In addition, you will be the representative for our company in Adelaide!

We pride ourselves in our very low staff turnover!
This role might suit someone who is transitioning into semi retirement and who still has the energy to travel if required (all paid).
*You will a independent contractor and will require an ABN.
We are more than happy to assist you in organising one should you not have one as yet.
You will be paid on a weekly basis.
