About the Role
Bakehouse on Cranford is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused people to join our friendly team.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced bakery, have a passion for great customer service and love being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Bakery All Rounder, you'll be involved in all aspects of our busy takeaway bakery.
No two days are the same—you may be serving customers, making great coffee, preparing food, stocking displays or helping keep the bakery running smoothly.
We value team players who are willing to learn, take initiative and enjoy variety in their work.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable customer service.
Assist customers with product selections and answer enquiries.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Prepare barista-made coffees, iced drinks and frappes.
Prepare sandwiches, rolls and other bakery products.
Restock displays and merchandise products to keep the bakery looking fresh and inviting.
Package food products in accordance with food safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment.
Opening and closing duties as required.




Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, barista work or food preparation (preferred but not essential).
Enjoys working with people and providing exceptional customer service.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is reliable, punctual and able to work in a rapid-paced environment.
Has good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
Is willing to learn new skills and take initiative.
Holds a Food Safety/Handling Certificate, or is willing to obtain one.
Is flexible with availability.
We operate seven days a week, so while flexibility is appreciated, consistent set shifts can also be arranged.
