Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts.

This role based at our Edge Hill Care Home in Cairns will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers.

About You
At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly.
Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to "think on your feet", communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain qualified relationships with residents and co-workers alike.
In addition, you will also
CurrentFirst Aid and CPR certification is essential.
Understanding of person-centred care principles and theirapplication in lifestyle programswith basic knowledge of the emotional, social, and physical needs of older adults.

Qualificationsacross Certificate III Individual Support or Leisure and Lifestyle is applicable for this role is desirable.
Hold (*or willingness to obtain) theNDIS Workers Screening Clearanceas this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector

falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
