JML Trades is a locally owned and operated family business servicing Canberra, Queanbeyan, and surrounding regions across Plumbing, Roofing, and Air Conditioning.With over 40 staff and continued growth across residential, commercial, and insurance works, we're investing heavily in our roofing division and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

About the Role
As the Roofing Operations Coordinator, you'll become the central point between our customers, roofing crews, suppliers, and office team.
You'll ensure every roofing project progresses smoothly from initial booking through to completion while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

and your ability to stay organised and adapt quickly will be one of your greatest strengths.
Your ResponsibilitiesYour day may include:
Coordinating daily schedules for roofing crews
Booking new jobs and allocating resources
Liaising with customers throughout their projects
Preparing work orders
Ordering roofing materials and coordinating deliveries
Managing supplier relationships
Monitoring project progress and adjusting schedules where required
Coordinating weather-related rescheduling
Processing quotations and approved works
Following up on outstanding quotations
Managing warranty and call-back requests
Ensuring photos, documentation, and compliance paperwork are completed
Working closely with the Roofing Team Leader to maximise productivity
Supporting continuous improvement across the roofing division

Quotations are followed up promptly
Warranty requests are resolved quickly

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised and proactive
Calm under pressure
Excellent at multitasking
Confident in communicating with customers and tradespeople
Comfortable making decisions independently
Able to prioritise changing workloads
Detail-oriented and process-driven
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Experience in roofing, construction, or trade services will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Experience with Service Titan, ServiceM8, or similar job management software is also highly desirable.
