Working alongside our Head Chef and senior kitchen leaders, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurants, functions, weddings, corporate events and member offerings.

About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your designated section of the kitchen while ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality food.
You will contribute to menu execution, maintain excellent food safety standards, and support the development of junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality dishes to Club standards.
Take ownership of your allocated kitchen section and ensure efficient service.
Assist with the preparation of à la carte, functions, weddings, events and special menus.
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements.
Assist with stock rotation, ordering and minimising food waste.
Work collaboratively within a positive and professional kitchen team.
Mentor and support apprentices and junior chefs where required.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment.
About You




You are a passionate chef who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in producing quality food.
You have strong technical skills, a positive attitude and are eager to continue developing your culinary career.
You will ideally have:
Trade qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef in a quality hospitality venue.
Experience working in high-volume kitchens.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
A commitment to producing consistently high-quality food.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
The ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.
A positive team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications & Experience Required
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
Current Food Safety knowledge (Food Safety Supervisor Certificate advantageous but not essential).
Sound understanding of HACCP and WHS requirements.
Australian working rights.
