About the role
Karidis Corporation Limited is seeking a finance professional with significant high-level experience, technical knowledge and communication skills to work intimately with the organisation's Director.
The Senior Commercial Analyst reports exclusively to the Director and operates independently of the Finance Team.
The position's primary duty is to provide financial insight to the Director thereby facilitating informed commercial decision making.
What you'll be doing
In consultation with the Director, develop and produce appropriate, regular high-level financial and business reporting
Work with the Finance Team to ensure that all financial data reported is accurate and validated
Translate sophisticated financial data and analysis into clear explanations and practical recommendations for the Director
Continuously monitor financial performance to ensure that analysis and advice is current and appropriately informed
Respond to all Director queries related to financial matters
Assist in the development and maintenance of KPI frameworks, models and insights to support decision-making
Identify emerging commercial risks and opportunities before they impact performance
Provide commercial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
What we're looking for
CA or CPA qualification
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in senior finance roles
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
High level of financial reporting experience
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
Proficient in using financial management, accounting and reporting software
