Part-Time Allied Heath / Receptionist

Casual Position | 2–3 Days Per Week
A1 Function is seeking a friendly, professional and motivatedAllied Health Assistant / Receptionistto join our team in Leura.
This is a varied role combining front-of-house reception duties with practical therapy assistant responsibilities.
It would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and proactive, and has an interest in health, rehabilitation, and exercise.
You will be an important part of the day-to-day operation of the clinic, supporting both our clients and clinical team.
Training will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake suitable Physio Aide duties under the direction of our physiotherapists.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Therapy Assistant Duties
Assisting clients to complete established exercise programs under appropriate clinical direction
Preparing treatment and exercise areas before and after appointments or classes
Setting up, cleaning and maintaining therapy and exercise equipment
Assisting with group exercise classes
Completing relevant documentation and administrative tasks associated with therapy assistant duties
Undertaking training and professional development relevant to the Physio Aide role
Reception and Administration Duties
Greeting and welcoming clients in a warm and professional manner
Answering and directing phone calls and emails
Managing appointment bookings and client enquiries
Processing payments and completing general reception tasks
Maintaining accurate client and administrative records
Maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming reception area
Assisting with clinic cleanliness and presentation
Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
Performing other reasonable duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
A genuine interest in health, rehabilitation, exercise or allied health
Confidence working directly with clients of different ages and abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
A professional, friendly and proactive approach
The ability to follow clinical instructions and work within clearly defined responsibilities
Confidence using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Flexibility to work a casual roster of 2–3 days per week
Australian work rights and full drivers license
Previous experience in reception, healthcare, or fitness setting would be highly regarded, although training will be provided for the right applicant.
