Steamatic is Australia's longest established and largest restoration company operating on a 24/7 basis to promptly deal with both emergency and non-emergency events including water, Mould and fire damage as well as other specialist services.
Steamatic Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga & Yea is a family owned and operated franchise currently looking for an enthusiastic Restoration Technician to join our team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
Must be trustworthy; able to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail is critical
Must be physically fit
Electronic Reporting Skills – i.e. use of iPad
Strong communication skills both verbally and written
Must be available to work on-call / after hours on a set roster if required
Possess a current Driver's License
Willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check, current Police Check and White card.




Responsibilities include:
Attend water damage, fire damage, Mould jobs
Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works, including strip outs, small scale demolition, water mitigation, structural drying & carpet/upholstery cleaning
Attend to specialised cleaning/restoration jobs including dry ice blasting & laser cleaning
Complete all necessary job documentation on an iPad
Skills and experience
The right person will have:
A outstanding work ethic and positive attitude
Willingness to learn
Ability to perform detailed cleaning (similar to asbestos cleanup.)
Handy, practical and experience with some hand tools is an advantage
