Our small team of two is looking for a third mechanic to join our growing transport refrigerated fleet workshop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mechanic wanting to build specialist skills in transport refrigeration—an industry with strong long-term demand and excellent career opportunities.
Reporting to the Refrigeration Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily inspection, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of our fleet of Thermo King and Carrier trailer refrigeration units
On-the-job training will be provided by our experienced refrigeration technicians to develop specialist skills.
Experience within the transport, fleet maintenance or logistics industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Pre-trip inspections
Servicing and repairing Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units
Engine servicing including repairing oil and coolant leaks.
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults
12-volt electrical system repairs
Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Completing repair documentation
Working safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship
About you:
Trade qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle background
Current driver's license




Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team and independently/unsupervised when required.
Diesel engine experience (advantageous but not essential)
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Enthusiasm and a desire to take pride in your work
