Ballarat Emergency Department Registrar Multiple Positions | Full time and Part Time
We are seeking Registrars to join the Emergency Department at Grampians Health – Ballarat Campus.
These positions offer excellent training opportunities, including rotations through ICU, anaesthetics, and other specialty departments.
The Emergency Department has -
A main department of 19 bedsFast-track Paediatric ED (5 beds)Short Stay Unit (12 beds)Front of house modelResuscitation areas (3 bays)
The hospital is being redeveloped and a new Emergency Department will be opened (likely) early ****.
Our Emergency Department manages over 60,000 presentations annually, including approximately 25% paediatric cases, with an increasing admission rate of *****%.

About You




We are looking for motivated and dynamic doctors who:
Demonstrate a strong team focusPossess excellent communication skillsHave a genuine interest in developing Emergency Medicine skillsValue patient-centred care and collaborative practice
Candidates should ideally be working towards or eligible for registration with Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) or have a strong interest in pursuing Emergency Medicine training.
At a minimum, applicants must hold General Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
