About the role:
Reporting to and working closely with the Supervisor Construction & Maintenance this Kwinana based position will see you working effectively and efficiently as a member of a small team to support the delivery rail infrastructure maintenance at nominated locations.
You will be performing the following duties:
Performance of rail infrastructure maintenance, including rerailing, re-sleepering and track/turnout upgrades, in accordance with established procedures and track standards
Performance of minor maintenance activities and rail infrastructure inspections, as required, in accordance with established procedures and track standards
Assisting the Supervisor Construction & Maintenance with the upkeep of rail infrastructure equipment and vehicles
Assisting the Supervisor Construction & Maintenance with loading, unloading and distributing materials at nominated locations
Undertaking administrative and recording duties to ensure quality outcomes and that correct information is recorded and distributed to the applicable stakeholder
About you:
Cert II in Rail Infrastructure (Mandatory)
Forklift License (Preferred)
Strong personal commitment to safety
Unrestricted 'C' Class Driver Licence (Mandatory)
Sound level of both written and verbal communication skills
Sound knowledge of rail infrastructure maintenance, inspection standards, systems, and processes
'HR' or "MR" Class Driver Licence although not essential,



will be highly regarded
Welding, and/or other trade tickets although not mandatory, will be highly regarded
