We are a community based private practice providing occupational therapy supports to children, young people, and their families in the beautiful Macedon Ranges and surrounds.Practicing in the Macedon Ranges gives our team the scope and flexibility to practice in the way that best suits them and their clients... inside in one of our three clinic spaces, in homes, schools/kindergartens, in cafes/gyms/swimming pools, or out in nature.
We are often found at local parks, ovals, and nature reserves, and it is stunning to watch the seasons change through the year!
In ****, RiverRun grew so much that we had to add another clinical space!
So as well as settling into our new space, RiverRun is developing exciting new clinical programs, and career development projects for our team that we are all looking forward to.

We currently have six occupational therapists, one allied health assistant, one registered play therapist and two administration support team members.
We are currently seeking an occupational therapist to continue the growth of our OT team.

you will be:A family-centered and evidence-based clinician to provide quality Occupational Therapy supports as part of our client's team.A good communicator to enable you to work efficiently within the RiverRun team, as well as within our local clinical and community networks.Committed to ongoing clinical and self-learning, to allow you to continue to grow into the best therapist that you can be.A dynamic therapist, who enjoys working in a creative and multidisciplinary team environment.An cutting-edge person who is seeking to be involved in the development of programs to best support the needs of the community.
What does the work involve?
Working full time with a varied case load from ages 1-20.
This ensures that you receive a broad range of experiences on a daily basis.Direct intervention in 1:1, 1:2, and group settings, as well as consulting services to local schools and kindergartens.Development of group programs for children, young people, and families, as well as development of community connections.Access to one clinic space with an 11x5m gym, a second clinic space that offers a more chilled "hangout" vibe, another large clinic space embedded with resources and toys for every age, as well as resources for supports provided in homes, schools, and the local community.Outstanding professional development opportunities (including weekly mentoring from the Principle and senior supervisor OT, regular and on-going in-house training sessions, opportunities and an extensive budget for external training, and peer-to-peer supports/mentoring)Technological resources, such as a laptop, iPad,



and work phone are provided by RiverRun so that you have everything you need to be effective and productive at what you do.
An excellent balance of billable hours to other activities that promotes a focus on quality service provision, team building, and personal/professional development.
