We are seeking an experienced and passionateLeadership Coordinatorto join our Child safety and NDIS based service.
About the Role
The Leadership Coordinator provides operational leadership across Fall Forward's Child Safety and Disability programs, with direct up-line reporting allowing consistent comfortability within the job-role.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting frontline teams, overseeing service quality, ensuring compliance, managing incidents, and driving positive outcomes for participants and young people in our care.
You will work closely with Disability Coaches, families, Child Safety Services, Support Coordinators, Allied Health Professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality and person-centred service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support Disability Coaches within Fall Forwards framework.
Provide operational oversight of Child Safety Residential Care and Disability Services.
Monitor participant wellbeing, safety, outcomes and service quality.
Oversee incident management, investigations and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with Child Safety, NDIS and organisational standards.
Build and maintain positive relationships with families, Child Safety, schools, allied health providers and community stakeholders.
Assist with workforce planning and operational coordination.
Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism and participant-centred practice.
About You
You are a confident and values-driven leader who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children, young people and people living with disability.
You will bring:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Child Safety, Disability, Residential Care, Community Services or Human Services.
Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising teams.
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
Experience managing incidents, risk, compliance and stakeholder relationships.
Excellent communication, report writing and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary leadership team.
Essential Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work, Human Services, Disability Services or related discipline.
Current Blue Card.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Current Queensland Driver Licence.
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
