Role DescriptionThe Retail Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC.
In this position, the consultant greets customers in the showroom, learns about their sleep needs, and recommends suitable beds and bases that support natural body alignment.
The role involves demonstrating product features, explaining benefits clearly, and guiding customers through the selection and purchase process.
Daily tasks include preparing quotations, processing sales, maintaining store presentation,
and ensuring accurate product information is shared with customers.
The consultant is also responsible for following up with customers to support a positive post‐purchase experience and contribute to overall store sales targets.
Qualifications
Ability to provide knowledgeable Sales Consulting to help customers select suitable products.
Experience in Retail Sales, preferably in furniture, bedding, or other high‐involvement consumer products.
Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Experience, with clear and respectful communication skills.
Commitment to achieving high levels of Customer Satisfaction through attentive listening and tailored recommendations.
Comfort working with point‐of‐sale systems and basic computer applications.
Goal‐oriented mindset with the ability to meet sales targets and work effectively within a team workplace.
Willingness to learn about sleep health, product features, and technical aspects of adjustable beds.
Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
