About the Role
The permanent full-time position will report to the Production Manager.
Some of the core duties of this position are:
· Assembly of new machinery
· Fabrication and vehicle modifications
· Assembly, modification, and fitment of the 12V/24V automotive electrical components and options on new machinery.
· Fault diagnosis and rectification
What do I need to have to be successful?
· Be able to work autonomously whilst maintaining a company driven focus.
· Have a Driver's License.
· Ability to use power tools and MiG welding techniques
· Have a solid level of mechanical and fitter knowledge
· Abilities with hydraulic and pneumatic components
· Display a sense of urgency and punctuality in their work
· Bring a willingness to learn and invest in your career.
Whether as an apprentice or fitter
· Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to ascertain their ability to adequately perform all duties as required
· Be neat and tidy, take responsibility for own workspace
