About the Role
We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our growing Payroll team.
Based in our Kingsford office in the picturesque Barossa, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across a dynamic national organisation.
This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who takes pride in precision, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Working alongside a collaborative and knowledgeable team, you'll ensure all payroll operations align with Australian legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver accurate and timely payroll services across multiple Australian business units
Support end-to-end payroll processing in line with Awards, EBAs, and legislation
Assist with statutory obligations including PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, WorkCover, and Long Service Leave
Contribute to month-end and year-end reporting
Respond to payroll queries with professionalism and clarity
What You'll Bring
Experience managing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation, ideally across multiple Awards/EBAs
Strong knowledge of Australian Industrial Relations (NES, Modern Awards, EBAs, IFAs)
Advanced Excel and payroll reporting skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
Solid analytical and problem-solving capability
Discreet, trustworthy approach to sensitive information
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with Kronos and Pronto (desirable)
