Join a Leading Insurance Team as a Motor Assessor in Queensland!
Are you a dedicated automotive professional ready to transition from hands-on work to a rewarding assessment career?
We are excited to offer multiple Motor Assessor positions across Brisbane, including Enoggera, Underwood, and Eagle Farm assessment centres, as well as in the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region (just over the Queensland border in northern NSW).

What You'll Do:
Reporting directly to the Motor Assessing Team Leader, you will oversee the entire claims process for insured vehicles.
Your key responsibilities include accurately identifying the cause of damage, assessing the scope and repair costs, and preparing comprehensive reports to support precise claim evaluations.
You will conduct assessments using virtual tools and causation reports from panel suppliers, review repair estimates, negotiate with repairers, and foster relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and repair networks.
Your work will ensure timely, cost-effective, and fair claim resolutions.
What We're Looking For:
Automotive qualifications such as Panel Beating or Spray Painting, whether registered or with practical experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of vehicle damage, repair processes, and estimation practices
Proficiency in computer and digital applications, including assessment and estimation tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
A committed customer service mindset aimed at delivering outstanding client experiences
Desirable Skills:Experience with virtual assessment tools or estimation software
Previous claims assessment or insurance industry experience
Deep understanding of damage causation and repair estimation
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:Trade-based qualifications in Panel Beating or Spray Painting
Hands-on experience within automotive repair, claims assessment, or similar roles
Proven ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimates (training provided)
Additional Requirements:Proof of full working rights in Australia
Ability to pass background screening
Flexibility to work across multiple locations or in hybrid arrangements as needed
A proactive attitude and eagerness to grow within the insurance and automotive fields
