About the role
STAK Civil Group is seeking a full-time qualified plumber and experienced operator (2 seperate roles) to join our growing team.
We are based in Nerang, QLD and we have jobs in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and Gold Coast.
What you'll be doing
Plumber:
Carry out civil plumbing works includingstormwater, drainage, sewer, water mains and underground services
Install and maintain pipe systems for commercial and civil projects
Read and interpret plans, set out works and ensure accuracy on-site
Supervise and work alongside apprentices
Work alongside plant operators and excavation crews to deliver projects efficiently
Ensure all work meetsWHS requirements, Australian Standards and local council regulations
Liaise with supervisors, builders and clients to ensure job requirements are clearly understood
Contribute to continuous improvement in site processes, safety systems and workmanship standards
Guide and educate apprentices
Operator:
Work across bulk earthworks, detailed excavation and civil drainage projects.
Operate and maintain late-model excavators and associated plant.
Read and work from plans while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Work as part of a motivated team with a strong focus on safety and quality.
GPS machine control experience highly regarded, but not essential.
HR licence and other plant tickets are an advantage.

Trade qualification as a Plumber (essential for plumber position)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site

Ability to work effectively within a crew environment
Professional communication skills when dealing with clients, builders and site supervisors
