We are seeking individuals with a proven background in General Administration, Reception, Executive Assistants, Customer service, Governance, Events, and Briefing Officers who can operate in a fast-paced environment, add value through their strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement and display drive and initiative with previous experience in both government and non-government sectors.
This is a great prospect for those experienced in administration/senior administration roles to contribute significantly to the South Australian public service.
Requirements:
All applicantsmust possess a current National Police Clearance Certificate(must be less than 12 months from initial release date)
Must be able to provide 2 satisfactory references
Must have appropriate right to work in Australia
These positions are temporary, providing flexibility and encompassing a diverse range of tasks, spanning from a few weeks to several months.
Availability to commence immediately is essential
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
General Administration Support: Provide high quality, confidential, accurate, timely and professional administrative and logistical support to the executives, staff, stakeholders, and clients.
Meeting Support: Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and following up on action items to ensure timely completion.
Document Management: Drafting, editing, and proofreading documents,
correspondence, and reports to a high standard.
Experience with ministerial briefings is highly advantageous.
Communication: Managing and prioritising emails, phone calls, and other correspondence on behalf of senior executives.
Governance: Government relations, managing registers and interpret policies.
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and handling classified materials as required.
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated proven expertise in Administration or Senior administration, or in the areas listed above
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Well-developed interpersonal, liaison and representational skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a solid attention to detail.
Proficiency in the use of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
A high degree of discretion and professionalism.
Knowledge of government processes and procedures (highly desirable).
