Position Overview
Permanent full‐time position leading a dedicated team to deliver HammondCare's model of care at Elderwise Social Club, Scone, NSW.
Work Monday‐Friday 8:00am–4:00pm.
The Social Club provides a social environment for older people to connect with their community and enjoy support from a skilled team.
We also host excursions on buses on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
Aid in recruiting and leading staff, managing budgets, ensuring quality, and overseeing all aspects of care provision at the Social Club.
Provide strong and effective leadership, direction and oversight of Social Club operations.
Operate the social club inline with CHSP Operational Manual, the Aged Care Act and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
Achieve targeted outputs for the social club.
Provide staff and volunteers with support and advice on daily operational care issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
Certificate IV in Aged Care or another relevant qualification.
Experience in community aged care management.
Experience running a CHSP Social Club is ideal.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem‐solve with limited supervision.
Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and prioritisation in a busy work environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance.
Strong conflict resolution skills.




Experience managing a team of skilled professionals.
Current driver's licence and safe driving record.
Willingness to travel between HammondCare sites and services.
Strong administrative and computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathy and patience.
