Service Technician – Refrigeration Mechanic or Plumber
Quantum Energy Heat Pumps is a leading provider of energy-efficient heat pump hot water systems and a specialist in hot water distribution solutions for the healthcare sector.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified tradesperson—either a refrigeration mechanic or plumber—to join our small, close-knit team based at our Seaford, South Australia warehouse.

You'll play a key role in building on our established 30-year reputation as one of the pioneers that introduced heat pump hot water systems to the Australian market.
About Quantum
Our core business activities include:
· Manufacturing, distributing, and installing energy-efficient domestic and commercial heat pump hot water systems throughout Australia and internationally.
· Manufacturing, servicing, and installing specialist sterilisation heat pump hot water systems for hospitals and aged care facilities.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will be involved in a diverse range of work, including:
· Servicing and repairing commercial heat pump hot water units,



refrigeration systems, and air conditioning systems.
· Installing and replacing commercial hot water heat pump systems on-site.
· Carrying out commercial and domestic hot water service work.
· Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of our specialist heat pump water treatment systems.
Work Schedule
This position operates on a FIFO roster, with work shared between South West Regional Queensland and our Seaford, South Australia workshop.
The monthly roster is structured as follows:
· One week in South West Regional Queensland
· One week off
· One week in South West Regional Queensland
· One week in the Seaford workshop

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· A trade qualification as either a refrigeration mechanic or plumber.
· The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
· The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· A current HR licence (desirable but not essential).
