What you'll be doing
Provide person-centred support to people experiencing mental health challenges
Help people build confidence, independence and practical everyday living skills
Create positive, trusting relationships that help people feel safe, respected and supported
Encourage people to participate in their community, work toward personal goals and enjoy meaningful experiences
Recognise changes in wellbeing and respond calmly, appropriately and in line with individual support plans
Provide consistent support during periods of emotional distress or heightened behaviours
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other members of the person's support network
Maintain accurate documentation and clear skilled boundaries
You're the right person if...
You have previous experience supporting people with mental health needs, psychosocial disability or complex behaviours
You understand recovery-focused, trauma-informed and person-centred support
You remain calm under pressure and approach challenges with patience, empathy and professionalism
You can build genuine relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries
You're observant, reliable and confident communicating changes in a person's wellbeing
You take pride in delivering consistent, respectful and high-quality support
You're committed to learning, growing and making a positive difference every day
