AIC Mines is entering an exciting period of growth across our North West Queensland operations, with Jericho Mine staging into production over the coming months.
As we ramp up activity and prepare for this next stage, we are looking for experienced and motivated Underground Service Crew Operators to join our growing copper business.
Located near Cloncurry in North West Queensland, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate.
Together with the development of Jericho, Eloise forms an important part of AIC Mines' growth strategy and offers the chance to join a strong operational team focused on safety, teamwork, performance, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
We are seeking skilled and experienced Underground Service Crew Operators to join our Mining Department at Eloise Copper Mine.
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing essential underground mining infrastructure to support safe and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and repairing underground services and equipment, including ventilation, air and water services.
Installing vent walls,
secondary fans and other underground infrastructure.
Assisting other underground mining roles as required.
Supporting, mentoring and building the capability of Service Crew personnel across all crews.
This role follows a ***** day shift and ***** night shift roster, FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane.
Bus commuting options are also available for local candidates from Cloncurry and surrounding communities.
Accommodation is provided onsite at Eloise Copper Mine, located approximately 65km from Cloncurry.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 3 years' proven underground service crew experience.
Current Working at Heights Certificate.
Current C Class Driver Licence.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance.
