About the role
You will be required to attend domestic residential sites and some unit blocks to check measurer before installation of kitchens and cabinetry.
You will be trained by our long serving Check Measurer.
Read and interpret project specifications and plans, this is critical as we produce our cabinets to suit what has been measured on site.
Part-Time with some days larger than others.
Monday – Friday
To be in this role, you must:
Be trade qualified
Communicate with site supervisors with any issues found on site that need attention.
Have a good driving record.
Have experience as a cabinetmaker or carpenter
Have an eye for detail
Be reliable, honest, respectful & have a positive attitude
Good customer service and communication skills
Be polite when attending private customers homes.
Be looking to become part of a successful team.
Able to work safely in accordance with relevant Safe Work Method Statements and OSH workplace policies

You will need to have past experience in this role and understand how imperative it is to measure correctly.
Positive communication skills
Some basic computer skills.
This will also be taught in house as it is only printing plans and uploading photos.
Ability to provide support for the apprentices when and where applicable
Proactive in continuous improvement and raise potential solutions or ideas to improve quality control, productivity and cost reductions
