Senior Environmental Consultant (Contaminated Land) to step into a Newcastle team where the projects are rolling in.
This role seeks a protected set of hands to take ownership of reporting, delivery, and keep things moving.
This role is about technical execution.

The Role
You'll take ownership of contaminated land projects across a genuinely varied portfolio, supporting the team lead while guiding juniors.
Lead PSI / DSI reporting and technical deliveryOversee remediation works including complex legacy sitesMentor junior consultants and grads on reporting and fieldworkManage multiple projects concurrently — keeping delivery tightAct as the go-to for quality output across the team
Projects include:
Slag remediation worksFormer power station (diesel + complex contamination)Coal mine closure and decommissioning projectsWaste and resource recovery sitesSingleton Bypass infrastructure projectLandfill reopening and regulatory-driven works

What You'll Bring
6–8 years' experience in contaminated land consultingStrong technical reporting capability (PSI, DSI, remediation)Comfortable running projects without hand-holdingExperience mentoring or supporting junior staffSolid understanding of NSW regulatory framework
