DevOps Engineer - L4 — EL1
We are a agile team consisting of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), data engineers, and data scientists.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the entire CI/CD pipeline.
The key duties of the position include:
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Build, manage and optimise containerised workflows using Podman and Kubernetes
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
Write and maintain scripts in Python to automate various DevOps tasks
Utilise GitHub Actions to streamline the development and deployment processes
Collaborate with SREs, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications
Document processes and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Education, Qualification and Experience Requirements
3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role.
Proven expertise in managing containerised workflows using Podman and Kubernetes.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with GitHub Actions for automating workflows.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
Experience working within air-gapped environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
