About the role
Join Elan as our Plant & Maintenance Supervisor and take the lead in the secure, efficient and reliable operation of our machinery and pyrolysis plant.
You'll oversee Plant Operators, work closely with site operations and drive continuous improvement to ensure optimal plant performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity and environmental compliance.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Oversee plant operations and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient and compliant performance.
• Lead and develop teams, setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Monitor production, quality and delivery performance.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Manage preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
• Inspect, fault-find, repair and maintain plant and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations, maintenance and plant performance.
• Support shutdowns, plant upgrades, process improvements, R&D; and capital projects.
• Maintain and improve MEX and other maintenance systems.
• Manage supplier, tooling and critical spare parts registers.
• Source and control critical tools, equipment and spare parts.
• Coordinate operational and maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports and provide operational input for performance and business decisions.

Experience & Qualifications
• Level 3 or higher engineering trade qualification in mechanical, fabrication or tool making
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role in a material recovery facility, waste management or manufacturing
• Sound understanding of safety management systems and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot and optimise MRF or similar industrial equipment
• High level of computer literacy, including reporting, documentation and operational systems
• Driver's & Forklift Licence
