About the Role
You'll be the heart of our kitchen, fueling our little learners with healthy and tasty meals each day.
Your key responsibilities include:
Preparingmorning tea, lunch, and afternoon teafor our 4-week rotating menu.
Catering forspecial dietary, allergy, and cultural needswith care.
Maintainingsafe and hygienic food handling, storage, and preparationpractices.
Managingordering, deliveries, and stock controlwithin budget.
Collaborating with theCentre Directorto design and refine a wholesome, seasonal menu.
Bringing apositive, team-oriented attitudeto your daily interactions with children and educators.
About You
We're looking for someone who's as passionate about healthy food as they are about community!
Ideally, you'll have:
Aqualificationin hospitality, commercial cookery, nutrition, or early childhood education.
Previous experiencein a childcare, aged care, or similar setting (preferred but not essential).
Strongmenu planning and allergy managementknowledge.
AWorking with Children Check(or willingness to obtain one).
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate(or willingness to obtain one).
First Aid Certificate(or willingness to obtain one).
