As the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER), we support Western Australia's community, economy and workplace by managing and regulating the state's environment and water resources.

Opportunities
We frequently need to fill short-term, immediate vacancies when our employees are on leave, temporarily assigned to other roles within the department, or seconded to other public sector departments.
Additionally, we often require staff for projects with limited funding or to address high workloads in specific branches.

Location
Our main office, Prime House in Joondalup, is contemporary, accessible and designed to promote collaboration, includes great facilities and has built-in technology for a digital workforce.
We also have an office in Perth CBD or you could join one of our regional offices spread across our beautiful state.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract being offered.
DWER will conduct National Criminal History Checks (NCHC) for all successful candidates.
Referee reports will also be obtained for any suitable applicants prior to being offered employment.
