About The Role
The Learning and Teaching directorate is responsible for the coordination and leadership of contemporary and contextualised learning design guidance and practice to improve the capability of teachers to design meaningful and challenging learning in their local context.
Role
The Program Leader, Learning and Teaching Resources fulfills a complex and demanding leadership role and contributes to the building of a strong team culture by modelling proactive collaborative and co-design processes to:
influence system-wide learning and assessment design capability and cultureamplify educator and student agency across the system.
The Program Leader, Learning and Teaching Resources is responsible for contributing to the strategic leadership of the directorate and ensuring effective collaboration with teams within the Learning and Teaching directorate and across the system.
They ensure the development of resources is consistent with The Strategy for Public Education and the needs of teachers and leaders in relation to activating the Areas of Impact and the SA Curriculum.
Additionally, they will ensure that all resources are evidence informed and support leaders and teachers in the translation of research to practice.
Qualifications
Essential:



: A tertiary qualification, (including post-graduate qualifications) in an appropriate discipline, desirable, or relevant experience.
Current teacher registration.
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
$165,103 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)
