About the role
There is an exciting opportunity available for an experiencedHotel/Pub Duty Managerat this outstanding and beautifully presented waterfront venue in the Gold Coast.Gold Coast Tavernboasts a sophisticated, modern and stylish design, which incorporates top quality fixtures and fittings.Gold Coast Tavernoffers an exceptional menu, outstanding quality food, a full suite of beverage choices and loads of entertainment and promotional activities.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated casual Duty Manager to join our team.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who leads by example, drives high standards, and takes pride in creating memorable customer experiences.

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have the following:
Proficiency in both food and beverage management in a high calibre hotel venue with minimum two (2) years' experience is essential.
Strong understanding of gaming and TAB facilities.




Maintain a high standard of service to all patrons, while ensuring compliance with company policies, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act and government regulations.
Ensure smooth running of hotel operations on designated shifts.
Complete all cash reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
Proactively supervise all staff by providing clear and consistent direction, ensuring that Company standards are adhered to at all times, as well as promoting a harmonious team environment.
A candidate with experience in successfully managing events and implementing successful marketing ideas would be looked upon favourably.
Be willing to take responsibility and accountability.
The right candidates must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus, as well as be professionally presented and groomed at all times.

The candidates must be flexible and available to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, public holidays, when rostering demands this.
An Australian National Police Check within the last 3 months.
