The Opportunity:
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Interior Designer/Selections Consultant to join our team.
As an Interior Designer with Italia Ceramics, you will have the opportunity to show your expertise and design flair as you engage with retail clients, leading architects, designers and builders, with the ultimate goal of bringing your client's vision to life.
This role is based in our inspirational and award-winning showroom, located 10 minutes east of the CBD and offers onsite parking.
About You:
We are looking for a driven, dedicated Interior Designer, passionate about putting their creativity to work and exceeding client expectations.
You will have an eye for design and flair for putting together colours, materials, furnishings, fixtures and experience in consulting with clients on creative briefs.
Essential skills and attributes required:
Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces in the building or interior design industry.




Sales experience in building or decorating products, and a confident ability to negotiate and close sales.
A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
A willingness to follow up on sales opportunities.
A driven and focused attitude.
Committed to assisting clients to achieve their desired outcome.
Intermediate computer literacy skills.
Project and time management skills.
This is a full-time role (5 days) including alternate Thursday evenings and Saturdays on a rotating roster, which allows you to enjoy a 3-day weekend, every 2 weeks.
