About the Position
Campaspe Family Practiceis seeking aMedical Receptionistto join our busy team on aCasualbasis.
The successful candidate will hit the ground running and be highly motivated with a sound background in customer service.
Proficient computer skills are essential with a knowledge of medical software including Best Practice desirable.
Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone
Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
Effective management of patient appointment types
General administration and daily office duties
Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Valuable availability across Monday to Saturday, with the ability to work rotating Saturdays as required
Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
High work ethic and reliability




Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
High level attention to detail
Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
We are located in the heart of Kyneton within the Macedon Ranges, we are a busy practice and pride ourselves on offering our patients a range of specialised services close to home.
