The Role
We're looking for an experiencedHeavy Vehicle Technicianto join our Maddington workshop team, servicing and maintaining a fleet of prime movers, trucks, and trailers used to support our heavy lift and transport operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of a business at the forefront of heavy engineering in WA.
What You'll Be Doing
Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy vehicles including prime movers, trucks, and multi-axle trailers
Conducting scheduled and breakdown maintenance in line with manufacturer and regulatory standards
Carrying out roadworthy inspections and ensuring compliance with heavy vehicle national law (HVNL)
Diagnosing and repairing air brake, hydraulic, electrical, and suspension systems
Completing accurate job cards, service records, and maintenance documentation
Working closely with the fleet and operations team to keep vehicles compliance-ready and available for project work
Maintaining a safe, clean,



and organised workshop environment
Participating in on-call or after-hours support as required by operational demands
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent trade certificate)
Proven experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers, ideally in a heavy haulage, transport, or crane/lifting environment
Sound working knowledge of air brake systems, hydraulics, and heavy vehicle electrical systems
Minimum HR or HC driver's licence
A strong safety mindset and commitment to compliance
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit workshop team
Good communication skills and attention to detail in documentation
