Role Description
The Exercise Scientist role at Zenith Humans is an on-site position based in Southport, QLD.
In this role, the Exercise Scientist designs, delivers, and monitors exercise programs for clients ranging from general population to athletic and high-performance groups, ensuring all programs align with best-practice guidelines.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting fitness and performance assessments, interpreting results, tracking progress, and adjusting programs as needed to support client goals and safety.
The Exercise Scientist collaborates with coaches and other health professionals, provides clear education to clients on technique and training principles, and maintains accurate records and documentation.




The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of services through research-informed practice, data collection, and participation in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Experience
Strong foundation in Exercise/ Sports Science, with the ability to apply evidence-based principles to practical programming.Knowledge of Human Anatomy and biomechanics to design safe, effective, and individualized exercise interventions.Experience in Strength & Conditioning, including program periodization, load management, and performance testing.Effective Communication skills for engaging with clients, collaborating with colleagues, and documenting assessments and progress.Relevant tertiary qualification in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or a related field.Professional registration or eligibility with a recognized exercise or sports science body (ESSA).
Competence in using assessment tools, data collection systems, and basic digital platforms for scheduling and reporting and programming.Demonstrated ability to work in an on-site, client-facing workplace with a commitment to safety, and ethical practice.Working with children Blue Card required.Insurance required.
