About the role
We are seeking aMachine Operator / All Rounder – Switchboards & Enclosuresto join our manufacturing team as lead in our machine processing side at our Kelmscott, WA facility.
This is afull-time positionthat plays a crucial role in our production operations.
As a Machine Operator / All Rounder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manufacturing equipment whilst ensuring the production of high-quality switchboards and enclosures and help us meet our strict quality standards.
This role is essential to our operational efficiency and directly contributes to our ability to deliver excellence to our customers.
The role will include working with Managing Director to improve production and outcomes in machine processing side of Business to help the fabrication side of business thrive
What you'll be doing
Operating and maintaining a variety of manufacturing machinery used in the production of switchboards and enclosures with EJB looking for someone with experience and ideas to help us improve Setting up machines in accordance with production specifications and technical drawings
Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are consistently met
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimise downtime
Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality requirements
Following all health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
Recording production data and documenting any issues or incidents that arise




Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
Supporting other areas of production as required, demonstrating versatility and flexibility in your approach to work , helpful if can weld , Forklift license & Drivers License for deliveries when required
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role within the sheetmetal, fabrication or enclosure industry as EJB willing to work with you to suit your preferred methods if help with standard of production
Demonstrated ability to operate or willingness to learn a variety of industrial machinery , laser - Press Brake - Turret Punch,
Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
Solid understanding of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications ,knowledge or willingness to learn some CAD
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
Reliability and strong work ethic
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
Preferred: Experience in switchboard or enclosure manufacturing, or relevant industry certifications
