You will provide vital client-side project support to deliver a diverse capital works program, focusing on modern, sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a collaborative construction and infrastructure setting, you will support project managers to:
Contract & Risk Management: Manage contractors and subcontractors; assess claims, variations and minor/major contract disputes to ensure value-for-money and compliance.
Procurement & Finance: Undertake procurements and negotiations in line with Commonwealth frameworks; plan, budget, and monitor progress against Cost Plans.
Project Governance: Maintain meticulous project records, data,
and reporting while ensuring strict adherence to legislative and administrative frameworks.
Stakeholder Coordination: Build robust relationships and work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, Traditional Owners and diverse internal/external stakeholders.
Skills & Capabilities
Experience: Extensive experience in infrastructure delivery, client-side project management, or contract administration.
Procurement Expertise: Strong procurement background, preferably aligned with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Communication & Organisation: High-level communication skills for briefings and reports, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
Qualifications (Desirable): A relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
