Above Award Pay & Benefits
$***** per hour + 12% super + weekend penalty rates.
Full-time equivalent earnings exceed $83,500 per annum based on a 40-hour week (actual earnings depend on hours worked).

This is a Hybrid Role
This is ahybrid positioncombining the responsibilities of aDisability Support WorkerandTherapy Assistant.
All successful applicants will performboth disability support and therapy assistant dutiesas required by each client's individual support plan.
While some clients may primarily require disability support and others may require a greater focus on therapy assistance, all team members are expected to be willing and capable of performingboth aspects of the role.
Youdo not need formal Therapy Assistant qualificationsto apply.
We provide on-the-job training and support to help you succeed.
However, applicants with qualifications or current studies in allied health disciplines will be highly regarded.
Your Role
As aDisability Support Worker & Therapy Assistant,



you'll provide person-centred support that combines disability support and therapy assistance to help clients achieve greater independence, improve their wellbeing and reach their individual goals.
Typical duties include:
Personal care, Medication prompting
Community access and social support
Domestic assistance, Meal preparation, Shopping and errands
Transport to appointments and activities
Capacity building, Independent living skills
Implementing prescribed exercise programs
Stretching and strengthening routines
Functional rehabilitation activities, Mobility and balance training
Therapy equipment setup and use, Supporting clients to achieve therapy goals
Therapeutic massage or soft tissue techniques (where suitably qualified)
Monitoring and documenting client progress,
Liaising with treating allied health professionals
About You
You are someone who:

Is willing and able to perform both Disability Support Worker and Therapy Assistant duties as part of the same role.
Is available to work Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday morning shifts (essential).
Additional weekday availability will be highly regarded.
Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
National Police Clearance
Current Australian or recognised International Driver's Licence.
Access to a reliable, roadworthy motor vehicle and the ability to drive independently, as driving between client appointments and transporting clients (as required) is an essential part of the role.
Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
Smartphone with internet access
Right to work in Australia
Desirable Requirements
Whilenot essential, the following will be highly regarded:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing or Home & Community)




Allied Health Assistance qualification
Current studies or qualifications in: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Allied Health Assistance, Remedial Massage, Myotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Sports & Exercise Science, or another relevant allied health discipline
Experience supporting people with neurological conditions, autism, psychosocial disability or mental health
Manual handling experience
Medication competency
Experience implementing therapy or rehabilitation programs under the direction of allied health professionals

Applicants donotneed to be available on all three days; however, availability for one or more of these morning shifts is essential.
