Job Description
Nagambie Farm Services Pty Ltd has 15 positions available for dedicated and hard-working general labourers to undertake work on poultry farms in the Kinglake West region.
These full time positions are to commence in August ****, for an employment period of up to 4 years.
Key Responsibilities:
Catching and handling live poultry,
Preparing poultry sheds for chickens including washing, putting together and installing equipment, such as drinkers, feeders and
Other labouring duties, as required.
The right person for these positions would possess the following:
A positive level of general physical fitness & agility to meet the demands of the role
Willing to undertake physically demanding and repetitive work involving working in close contact with poultry birds
Ability and willingness to follow instructions, quickly learn and apply new processes
Capable of working in a team environment as well as autonomously.




Be able to multi-task with attention to detail.
Successful candidates will be employed in accordance wih the Pastoral Award ****.
They will be paid an hourly rate, usually starting at Level 1, and will work an average of 38 hours per week.
Staff must be available to work 5 days a week and up to 7 days per week during busy periods.
Occasional afternoon / night shift and weekend work may be required.
