Are you an experienced Administration Officer ready to take on a dynamic role with greater ownership and variety?
We are seeking a proactive and organisedAdministration Officerto join our team at Legune Station.
This role is primarily focused on providing administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the station, with the addition of some domestic and hospitality duties to support the wider team.
Working closely with the Administration Hospitality Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative functions while also contributing to the upkeep and presentation of station accommodation and shared facilities.
This is a varied, hands-on position, ideally suited to someone who is adaptable and willing to assist wherever needed in a remote station environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration (75%)
Provide daily administrative support including email management, filing, records, and scheduling
Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments using Xero
Reconcile financial data and maintain accurate records
Assist with payroll, HR coordination, and onboarding
Coordinate travel and site inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors
Maintain livestock records including NLIS database and reporting
Support monthly reporting and respond to supplier enquiries
Assist with general station operations and additional tasks as required
Domestic & Hospitality (25%)
Assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties
Clean and maintain staff and guest accommodation, kitchen, and shared facilities
Prepare accommodation and facilities for visitors and guests
Support housekeeping standards across the station
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in administration (essential)
Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems
Solid organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist across multiple areas
Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or domestic duties (desirable)
